RockTape Kinesio Tape 5cm x 5m stays on the skin for 2-7 days and is a strong, active-free, stabilising and supportive tape. One roll of 5m tape lasts 5-10 times. The pattern and colour of the tape have no influence on its therapeutic properties. How is the physiotherapy tape applied and removed? Kinesiology tapes are best applied by a specialist – a physiotherapist or massage therapist. However, if you know the principles of taping, you can do it yourself. If you are going to exercise, apply the tape at least 20-30 minutes before you start your workout. To apply the tape, first locate the painful muscle. Then choose the width and length of kinesiology tape that is appropriate for the muscle: 5 cm tape is suitable for almost all muscles. Cut the ends of the tape round: this will help it stay on the skin longer. Remove the hair and clean the area where you plan to apply the tape. Move the muscle to the stretched position. Make sure that you have not stretched the tape itself, but have placed the tape on the stretched muscle in its normal position – stretched tape can damage the skin. Place the physiotherapy tape on the muscle and rub it lightly to make it stick better. If the kinesiology tape is applied correctly, the kinesiology tape will bend as the muscle returns to its normal position. Keep the tape on the skin for 2-7 days. Due to the fabric and the heat-activated acrylic adhesive, the skin is able to breathe through the surface of the tape and possible allergic reactions are rare. However, if you feel itchy or notice a skin rash after applying the tape, remove it immediately. To remove the tape, hold the skin with one hand while gently and slowly pulling the tape away from the skin with the other hand. Do not remove the tape by pulling it off suddenly. Features
