Conditions of sale and purchase
The owner of the online shop Borealis.lt (hereinafter – the online shop) is Borealis Lithuania(Company code 306160961, VAT code LT100015414919), located at V. Gerulaičio 1, Vilnius.
Validity of the contract, information on goods and prices
- These terms and conditions of sale apply to purchases from the online shop www.borealis.lt;
- The prices of the goods sold in the online shop are shown next to the goods. Delivery charges are added to the price;
- The delivery fee depends on the buyer’s location and the method of delivery. The delivery charge will be shown to the buyer at the time of placing the order;
- Information about the products is available in the online shop immediately after the product name.
Order from
- Online shop prices are in euros including VAT;
To order products, please add the desired items to your basket. To complete your order, please fill in the required fields on
and select the appropriate delivery method. The amount of the fee will then be displayed and can be paid by bank via
link or other payment solutions; - To order products, click on the “Add to basket” button on the product to add it to your basket.
The basket shows the selected products, their quantities, price and the loyalty discount available. To add
products to your shopping cart or to make a purchase, please follow the shopping cart instructions; - Select the correct delivery method and you will see the delivery price (all products are offered free delivery on
, please make sure to read the terms and conditions); - If you want to make a purchase, click on the “Continue” button. In the window that appears, you must enter your details, if you want to enter
company details, select the option “enter company details”; - Fields marked with an asterisk must be completed. If you want the delivery details to be different from the payer’s details, please select the “Send to another address” box on
and fill in the required fields. The “Order Overview” window shows
the full content and price of your order and if you are sure you want to buy, click on the “Submit
order” button; - In the case of promotions, you can enter the promotional voucher code in the relevant box in the online shop. Information about the
promotional voucher code is shared on the campaign’s information channels; - You don’t need to create a user account to purchase goods. However, it makes shopping more convenient – in future, your
contact information will already be pre-recorded; - The creation of a user account takes place at the time of the initial purchase. You must provide your contact information when registering;
- The contract starts when the amount of the price is credited to your online shop account;
- If the goods ordered cannot be delivered due to shortage of the goods or for any other reason, the buyer shall be notified as soon as possible
and shall be offered a similar product or the money paid (including delivery costs) shall be refunded no later than
14 days from the date of receipt of notification.
Payment for goods
- You can pay for your goods by bank transfer, by selecting an e-banking link, by debit or credit card, or by any of the other methods we offer;
- Once your order has been placed, an order confirmation will be sent to the email address you provide;
- Your order confirmation will include the bank details of Borealis Lithuania, which you can use to make the payment. When making the transfer, please enter the order number in the destination field. Please pay within 2 days, after which your order will be automatically cancelled and you will need to make a new purchase;
- After delivery, the System generates an invoice and sends it to your email address;
- Borealis Lithuania is the main processor of personal data and transmits the personal data necessary for making payments to the authorised payment institution.
Order fulfilment and delivery
- Goods are shipped to the following countries: all EU and EEA countries;
- The cost of sending the goods shall be borne by the user, taking into account the transport costs calculated according to the consignment and the location;
- Ordered goods will be shipped within 1-3 working days after receipt of payment to Borealis Lithuania’s current account;
- Intra-Lithuanian shipments usually arrive at the destination specified by the user within 1-2 working days of the start of the sale and purchase agreement;
- Outside Lithuania, goods are delivered within 2-10 calendar days;
- When buying from an online shop, the customer can choose to collect the goods themselves. Goods ordered from the online shop can be collected from the Borealis dealership chosen by the buyer when ordering the goods;
- If the buyer wishes to receive the ordered goods at a dealership of his choice, no additional transport costs will be added to the price;
- In exceptional cases, we have the right to deliver within 45 calendar days.
Right of withdrawal
- Once the order has been received, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract concluded in the online shop within 14 days. The right of withdrawal does not apply if the buyer is a legal person;
- In order to exercise the 14-day right of return, the goods ordered may not be used in any way other than what is necessary to ascertain the nature, characteristics and performance of the goods, as they are allowed to be tested in the physical shop;
- If the goods have been used for purposes other than those necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and performance of the goods, or show signs of use or wear, the online shop has the right to refuse to accept the goods or to reduce the amount to be refunded according to the reduced value of the goods;
- To return the goods, you must make your request in writing no later than 14 days from the date of receipt. Please send your request to info@borealis.lt;
- The cost of returning the goods is borne by the buyer;
- Upon receipt of the returned goods, the online shop shall reimburse to the buyer all payments received from the buyer under the contract no later than 14 days from the date of receipt of the withdrawal request;
- The online shop may refuse to refund the money until the object of the contract has been recovered or until the buyer has provided proof that he has returned the goods, whichever comes first;
- If the buyer has chosen a delivery method other than the cheapest normal delivery method offered by the online shop, the online shop is not obliged to reimburse the consumer for the costs incurred in excess of the normal delivery method;
- The online shop has the right to refuse the sale and to demand the return of the goods if the price of the goods has been marked below the market price of the goods.
Right to lodge a complaint
- The online shop shall be liable for any discrepancy or defect in the goods sold to the buyer which existed at the time of delivery;
- During the first twenty-four months after delivery of the goods to the buyer, the defect is deemed to have already existed at the time of delivery. It is the obligation of the online shop to reject the presumption;
- The Buyer has the right to contact the Online Shop by email at info@borealis.lt or by phone at +370 629 38095 if he/she notices any defects;
- The online shop is not liable for defects that occur after the goods have been delivered to the buyer;
- If the goods purchased from an online shop have defects for which the online shop is responsible, the online shop will repair or replace the defective goods. If the goods cannot be repaired or replaced, the online shop shall reimburse to the buyer all sums paid under the sales contract;
- The online shop shall reply to the buyer’s complaints in writing or in a form capable of being reproduced in writing within 15 days.
Direct marketing and processing of personal data
- The online shop uses the personal data entered by the buyer (including name, surname, telephone number, address, e-mail address, bank details) only for the purpose of processing the order, dispatching the goods and issuing the invoice. The Buyer agrees that the Online Shop shall transmit personal data to transport companies for the delivery of goods;
- The online shop sends newsletters and offers to the buyer’s e-mail address only if the buyer has expressed his/her wish by entering his/her e-mail address on the website and has indicated his/her wish to receive direct mailings;
- The Buyer may at any time unsubscribe from email offers and newsletters by informing us by email or by following the instructions in the email containing the offers.
Dispute resolution
- If you have any complaints about the online shop, please send them to info@borealis.lt or call +370 629 38095;
- If the buyer and the online shop cannot resolve the dispute by agreement, the buyer can contact the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (SCPPA). The procedural conditions and the application form are available here https://vvtat.lrv.lt/lt/. The CPVO is competent to resolve disputes arising from a contract concluded between the buyer and an online shop.
